The next morning we met Mike and Wendy for breakfast - our first real Scotish breakfast and Mike and I wanted the real deal. This is the traditional breakfast in all its glory. There is black or (blood) pudding, haggis, 1 egg, sausages, ham, beans with mushrooms, potatoes, toast, tomatoes, toast and a potato scone. I did eat the black pudding - I wouldn't say I was crazy about it, but it wasn't bad.

The canon goes off at 1:00 pm every day. (The Scots were smart - they do it at 1 because then just 1 canon ball!)
