Stonehenge and Bath

We took a tour of Stonehenge and Bath. We caught a bus not too far from our hotel. It was a little cold and blustery that day, but not bad at all. We really did luck out weather wise in London. We had a little bit of rain a couple of times - once on our first day - we ducked into a pub until it passed and the second time when we were stuck in traffic on the double-decker bus - we just hopped off and into a pub! Not a bad way to wait out the rain in London for sure.

So off to Stonehenge. The countryside was beautiful. Spring was a little further along over there than here.

Stonehenge is a sight to behold in person. Of course you can't get very close - but it is amazing.

After Stonehenge we traveled to Bath. We did a little self guided tour of the Baths and then wandered around the city. Ducked into a little sandwhich shop for lunch. A very pleasant day.

Stonehenge / Bath tour was 90 pounds for 2 people.
